More About Me

Barb Robinette’s strong customer focus and results-minded style make her ideally suited to be your real estate broker. With a strong background in marketing communications, she uses her knowledge of packaging the product, message strategy and promotion in a real estate context. For home sellers, she will help you identify the unique selling features of your home, and position it to be attractive to your best potential buyer. For home buyers, she will help you find the home that fits your needs and develop a compelling message that positions you as the strongest potential buyer.

Whether you are looking to buy or sell a home, you will find Barb to be a responsive broker and a trusted advocate. Robinette is a full-time broker working in Anacortes, Skagit County and Island County. Barb enjoys working with people and has strong communications skills. Before Real Estate, Robinette enjoyed a rewarding career as Director of Marketing and Public Relations. Her focus was in the outdoor recreation industry, where she traveled to some of the wildest areas of America and even directed an off-road expedition, The Warn Glacier Expedition, in Iceland which had some interesting twists and turns (there is a story to that).

When not working, she spends time in the beautiful forest lands and coastlines of Puget Sound and Mt. Baker Wilderness. She is a graduate of Washington State University and parent of two adult children. Her daughter is a musician and Central Washington University student, and her son is an Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University graduate and airline pilot.

Anacortes has always been home to Robinette, though she has not always lived there. She spent her early years in Anacortes, attended Mt. Erie Elementary, camped in the San Juan Islands, skied Mt. Baker and peered in tide pools with her two siblings and her parents, who were Anacortes community leaders. Robinette raised her two children in the Portland area where she was a Marketing Professional and an active community volunteer. But over the years, with family in Anacortes, she returned for holidays, Arts Festivals, 4th of July Parades, beach combing and for the happiest of times. It was inevitable that Barb Robinette return to Anacortes for good.
